He Won!!!

So the last few weeks have been pretty stressful preparing for a big meeting that was being held in Las Vegas... And who was the person that had to prepare everything, make arrangements, and fight with the hotel when things went wrong? Yeah, that was me. My boss was being nominated into the Board of Directors and he was hosting the shin-dig. Well everything turned out pretty good and he even won the first open chair!!!

I got back to the office today from lunch and had the most gorgeous bouquet of flowers on my desk from Kevin just as a thank you. I really had fun with the whole thing. Having a weekend in Vegas and staying at THEhotel was enough...

I will get pics of Natty & I on here ASAP... We had a great time taking pictures. I think we're both getting old though, we didn't stay out late and hit all the clubs. We'd rather just watch football on the couch! Haha!

The Week to Come

I know I don't have any pics attached to this blog but it's been a while since I posted one. I have been so busy lately with work and what not's. I finally have free time at work so I am making the "best" of it. Haha!

So, today I am getting my hair done after work for my "birthday", can I even tell you how bad I need it done, it's getting so long!!!

Tomorrow, I am going 4 wheeling (depending on the weather) and am planning on riding my ass off as usual.

Sunday is my birthday and what better way then to have dinner with the best point guard of the NBA... So I will be spending my birthday dinner with Deron Williams (I will get some pics up).

Monday I have the day off in observance of my b-day and haven't quite decided what I am going to do with my day. But I have the Awards dinner for the Celebrity Golf Tournament that night... Yay!!!

Saturday the 27th I leave for fabulous Las Vegas. I get to stay at THEhotel which is the Mandalay Bay, all suite hotel. (I will get some pics of this too!)

Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Remembering...

I know there are some people out there that want to forget what happened 7 years ago today, but there are some things that you just can't. As you all know I have my own opinions on what actually happened that day but it just comes down to the fact that tons of people who didn't deserve to lose their lives did. A friend of mine sent me an email this morning and I liked what he had to say so here it is...

As cliche as it is to say, I remember 9-11 like it was yesterday. I was a sophomore in high school. Walking into school and was floored when I saw the first tower on fire, and then the second plane hit. It was the first time as an American I felt vulnerable. One of the very few times in the last 10 years I've cried. My heart goes out to all who lost loved ones on that day. Thank you to all the hero's who made the ultimate sacrifice. It's unfortunate that the NYPD and NYFD did more that day than the leaders of our country.I will never forget.
