New Year's Eve

Since we are all getting old and a lot of friends have kids we decided to have a NYE get together at the West residence.  It was a great time with friends new and old!

I wasn't kidding when I said old friends.  This is Deborah and her husband.  Deb, Tara and I used to be friends in elementary school and haven't seen each other for about 10 years!  It was wonderful to meet her husband and son!

I had a great New Year's kiss... Even though my mom did call and interupt it... I think she was at a fun party herself!

Goodbye 2009, Hello 2010

So as we said good-bye to 2009 we said good-bye to the last year that we have lived and we started off a whole new year.

My year started off great.  I am healthy, my family is healthy, my friends are healthy...

I also received a late Christmas present...

Perry came up from Bryan, TX to spend the holiday with me.  It was so much fun having him here even though the visit was way too short.  And being from Texas, a state with little to no snow, he was severely infatuated with the wet, cold white stuff that I could live without.

In short, I miss this guy and can't wait until his next visit.
