Happy Thanksgiving!!!

So this Thursday is Thanksgiving… And at this time I am reminded of all the wonderful things in my life I should be thankful for. There are so many things in my life that I am truly grateful for but that would be a long post. So here are the first 5 that come to mind.
My Health – without it I wouldn’t have been a healthy (and adorable) baby, child, and now adult.

Boozer – He is the light in my life, make me happy when I am sad, makes me mad when I am happy… He is definitely my baby and I wouldn’t trade him for the world.

Friends – Without the great friends I have I would not be who I am. I can’t thank them enough for putting up with me, loving me, and being there for me when I need them.

My Family – All my aunts, uncles, cousins, grandma! But especially to my wonderful siblings (and in-law siblings) who have given me so much love through my life. And 5 BEAUTIFUL nieces!

And finally… My Parents – Without them I would not be who I am (I would not even be here). They are so supportive, loving, understanding… I could go on and on… I can’t even put into words how much I love them! I don’t know what I would do without them. My mom is truly my best friend. I know that she is there for me no matter what, and I can tell her anything. Thank you mom! My dad, is… my dad! I will always be his little girl no matter how old I get. He will always worry about me and take care of me and try to protect me from harm. Thank you dad! I love you both so much and I can’t thank you enough for what you do for me and how you love me. I am so happy that I can discuss anything with you and not be afraid that you will judge me or look down on me.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Big Game!

So tomorrow is the biggest rivalry game in the state of Utah. BYU vs. Utes... I received this joke and thought it was pretty funny and had to share...

A Utah family of BYU football supporters head out one Saturday to do their Christmas shopping. While in the sports store, the son picks up a Utah Utes jersey and says to his older sister, "I've decided to become a Ute fan and I would like this for Christmas." His big sister is outraged by
this and promptly whacks him on the head and says, "Go talk with Mom."

Off goes the little lad with the Utah Utes jersey in hand and finds his mother. "Mom?"

"Yes, son?"

"I've decided I'm going to be a Ute fan, and I would like this jersey for Christmas."

The mother is outraged, promptly whacks him on the head and says, "Go see your father." Off he goes with the Utah Utes jersey in hand and finds his father. “Dad?"

"Yes, son?"

"I've decided I'm going to be a Ute fan, and I would like this jersey for Christmas".

The father is so outraged he, too, whacks his son on the head and says, "No son of mine is ever going to be seen in THAT!"

About half hour later they're all back in the car heading towards home. The father turns to the son and says, "Son, I hope you've learned something today."

The son says, "Yes, Dad, I have."

"Good, son. What is it?"

The son replies, "I've only been a Ute fan for an hour and I already hate you BYU fans."

Dogs Have Play Dates Too!

So on Friday my friend Cody brought his dog Bruno over for a "play date" with Boozer. Bruno is an American Bulldog (mix) and weighs about 10 or 15 pounds more than Boozer. But Boozer was definitely the dominate one. He would pin Bruno down and tackle him. It was one of the cutest things I have ever seen.

Here is Boozer and Bruno playing tug-o-war with Boozer's basketball. You can also notice the basketball game on the TV in the background. ;-)

Go Jazz!

Last night I was lucky enough to attend a special "meet and greet" signing party with the Utah Jazz. I got a couple pics of different players (DWill, Millsap, Miles, Harpring) but my favorite had to be the one with me in it (of course). Ronnie Price was nice enough to let me get a picture with him.
Go #17!!! We need to see more dunking out of you!

Phone Call of the Year

So I just got off the phone with my ex. Apparently there is someone out there that is using MY name to contact Stefani via her Facebook and her blog. If you are the one leaving her comments as me you need to STOP. If I find out who is doing it there WILL be actions taken. I know that by forwarding the email I received from her was immature but posting comments from ME, is worse. Whoever is doing this is not a friend. If you were a friend you would have the dignity to post a comment under your own name!

I just want to say sorry to Stefani and Joe for all the stress and pain this person or people have caused. I swear on my life and the lives of everyone around me that this was NOT me. I just recently joined Facebook to keep in the loop with a friend here at work (this account is now being deleted). I have never looked at your blog, I didn't even know you had one.

Joe also mentioned that someone created a registry under the brides name with a different guy. This is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard. I cannot believe someone would even do that! Even if I did hate Stefani or Joe and I was obsessed with them this is lower than anything you could do. These two are trying to start off their lives together, they will have enough stress, they don't need anything from other people to fuel the fires.

Again, my apologies to Stefani and Joe. I am sorry about whatever immature ass is doing this. Please know that is it NOT me.

Monday Night Football - Election Outcome?

Here's a bit of fun info. Apparently Football is America's sport. According to a couple websites there is a "Redskin Rule" that says tonights football game will tell you the outcome of tomorrow's election. This is just something fun I received from a co-worker and want to know if it will be true this year...

The Washington Redskins: In 18 out of the last 19 elections, when the Redskins have won their final home game prior to the election, the incumbent has held the White House. The one exception to the Redskins Rule was 2004, when the Green Bay Packers beat the Redskins, but John Kerry still went on to lose President Bush. This year the second-place Redskins face the first-place Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football on Nov 3. (http://politicalhumor.about.com/od/election2008/a/elect-predict.htm)

VS.

So does that mean if you are cheering for the Redskins tonight you are voting for McCain tomorrow?
